About Us
The Australian Shareholders’ Association (ASA) is an independent, non-profit, member funded organisation. Since 1960, we have been advocating shareholder rights by advancing the interests of investors and providing a strong collective voice for shareholders.
The ASA has raised the standard of corporate governance in Australia. We advocate for transparency and accountability in company performance, executive remuneration, treatment of minority shareholders, risk management, and dividend policy.
The ASA engages its members online and in physical spaces. Members are able to further their investment knowledge through the annual conference, monthly meetings and discussion groups, as well as one-off seminars and workshops.
Our members receive EQUITY, and also participate online through the website, social media, and our online forum. These each contain educational information on investment strategies and, latest news on ASX companies, SMSFs, and more.
